It's Miller Time
Pueblo Motorsports Park
July 19, 2003
Race Summary
It was plenty warm down in the desert. Of the five S7's, only two of them
had any racing experience at Pueblo. That would pretty much determine
the outcome of qualifying as Jay Bonvouloir barely edged Mark Miller for
the pole by two tenths of a second. They were ahead of 3rd place Chris
Sarian by about 5 seconds. Tyler Hunter had to cut his qualifying short
with a cut tire. By the time the race started, the clouds had finally
formed and made for a nice cloudcover. At the start, Jay took the lead
going into turn 1 and never looked back (except for looking in the mirror
and seeing the red #58 of Mark Miller every time.) Mark kept the pressure
on, but it wasn't enough to keep Jay from getting win #5 of the season.
Up next, the double regional at Second Creek, and I believe a familiar
yellow car will make its return to racing after almost a year's absense.
So,
hopefully everyone can make it! Sign up now so we know who will be there!
Deadline is this Sunday anyway.
