Chris Sarian (left) and Jeff Allen (right) show-off their weekend's trophies from the PPIR Double Regional hosted by the CDR SCCA Region. With a field of 12-13 cars for the weekend, it made for great racing and great fun. The Arizona Region was represented with three cars with Joe Skorch sneaking out of town with a 1st place on Sunday.

Jay Bonvouloir wins the May 1st and May 2nd May Daze races at La Junta Raceway. Annie Bonvouloir came in 2nd on May 1st and John Bonvouloir came in 2nd on May 2nd. 
Jonathan McGrew placed 3rd on both race days and is making a consistent run for Rookie of the Year and potentially the championship. Congratulations also go out to Jonathan McGrew (2nd) and Jeff Wilson (3rd)...more to come

Members
of the Continental Divide and Colorado Regions supported the Pikes Peak
International Hill Climb Speedweek celebration by staging an autocross
demonstration for the public at the World Arena on Friday, 27 June. About
20 members of the Rocky Mountain Solo Community spent the day demonstrating
their driving skills on a challenging course on the west lot. During the
day, the members also supported a media celebrity go-kart race, and a
shifter kart demonstration
put on by the folks from CRE Motorsports in Calhan. George, from CRE,
generously allowed the SCCA folks to try their skill at kart driving.
It was a first for many of us, and a real treat. Later on in the day,
we put the Solo cars back on the course for more demo runs. We gave a
bunch of rides to spectators, all of whom came away with big eyes and
big grins!!! My thanks to the following folks who made this event a great
success:
